The Opportunity
Like many established apartment communities, Sir Gallahad had a recognizable name but a brand that no longer reflected the experience residents found when they arrived.
The original identity leaned heavily on the medieval knight associated with the Sir Gallahad story. While memorable, it felt dated and offered little to distinguish the community in today’s competitive rental market.
Epic saw an opportunity to reposition the property with a more refined, contemporary identity.
A New Direction
Instead of modernizing the existing logo, the team started by redefining the personality of the community.
Sir Gallahad became a modern gentleman – confident, welcoming, and timeless. That idea influenced every part of the rebrand, from the logo and typography to the color palette and supporting graphics.
The objective wasn’t simply to create a new look. It was to give the community a clearer identity that prospective residents could immediately understand.
Beyond the Logo
The new brand was designed to live throughout the property.
Environmental graphics, wall treatments, signage concepts, and wayfinding all reinforce the new identity and create a more cohesive experience from arrival through move-in.
By carrying the brand into the physical environment, the community feels intentional rather than simply updated.
The Result
The project demonstrates how thoughtful branding can help reposition an established community without changing what residents already appreciate about living there. Instead of trying to become something different, Sir Gallahad became a clearer expression of what it already had the potential to be.
