Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our properties, operations, and team.

How long has Epic been operating multifamily communities across the Puget Sound?

Epic’s roots in Seattle multifamily ownership and operations date back to 1962. Epic Asset Management was established in 1981 to operate those long-term apartment assets, with a focus on stability, consistency, and local expertise.

Epic operates a range of multifamily communities across the Puget Sound, including vintage apartment buildings, stabilized communities, and newer multifamily developments.

The portfolio varies over time through acquisitions, renovations, and dispositions.

Every community is different, but Epic’s approach remains consistent. We invest in experienced on-site teams, responsive maintenance, in-person communication, and the day-to-day details that shape the resident experience. Technology supports our teams, it doesn’t replace them.

All Epic communities are pet-friendly and welcome both cats and dogs. Standard pet fees and monthly pet rent include: Dogs
  • $250 deposit
  • $250 fee
  • $50/month pet rent
Cats
  • $250 deposit
  • $250 fee
  • $50/month pet rent
Pet policies, availability, and any community-specific guidelines may vary slightly by property, so residents are encouraged to confirm details directly with the leasing team for the community they are interested in.

Maintenance teams are assigned based on the size and needs of each property.

Residents can submit maintenance requests through an online resident portal, allowing issues to be tracked, documented, and addressed efficiently. Ongoing maintenance, preventative upkeep, and unit turn coordination are all part of maintaining property condition across the portfolio.

Epic maintains a 24-hour after-hours call system for maintenance emergencies across all communities.

Apartment tours can be scheduled by calling the property directly or by submitting a request on the property’s website. View the list of properties.
