For more than 60 years, Epic has been part of the Puget Sound multifamily industry.

Epic’s leadership team supports the people who run our communities every day. From leasing and maintenance to operations and resident communication, our teams are guided by experienced professionals who understand the importance of consistency, responstiveness, and day-to-day support. Many of our team members have spent years in the industry and in the Puget Sound market, helping create stable communities and long-term careers.

Our portfolio includes a wide range of apartment communities across the Puget Sound, from vintage buildings full of character to newer communities with modern amenities. Each property is different, but the goal is the same: maintain communities that are welcoming, well cared for, and built to serve residents.
Regional Expertise
Epic has owned and operated apartment communities in the Puget Sound region for more than six decades. That experience brings a strong understanding of local neighborhoods, housing trends, and the day-to-day realities of operating communities throughout the region. Epic is also a founding member of the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association, reflecting a long-standing connection to the local multifamily industry.
Our History
Epic Asset Management was established in 1981 to operate apartment communities that had been in the Stephanus family since 1962. The company remains wholly owned by President and CEO John W. Stephanus, continuing our proven approach to multifamily ownership and operations in the Puget Sound.
